Registering at Saibo898 takes about two minutes if you have your phone and your bank details ready. It takes considerably longer if you get halfway through and discover your account name doesn't match your bank account. This guide walks through every step and flags the three places people usually get stuck.
What you need before you start:
- A Cambodian mobile number that can receive SMS
- Your ID card or passport (for verification later)
- A bank or wallet account in your own name — ABA, Wing, ACLEDA or Bakong
That last point is the one that causes the most trouble. Read the KYC section at the bottom before you fill anything in.
Step 1 — Open the registration page
Go to the Saibo898 homepage and tap Register in the top right. On mobile it appears as a button in the header; on desktop it's in the navigation bar.
If the page won't load, you may be on a mirror domain that has been blocked. Check the official domain list before entering any details anywhere — phishing clones of Cambodian casino sites are common, and they look convincing.
Step 2 — Enter your mobile number
Type your number without the leading zero and select the +855 country code from the dropdown.
So if your number is 012 345 678, enter 12345678.
This is failure point number one. Entering the number with the leading zero, or with spaces, will either reject the form or send the OTP to a number that doesn't exist.
Step 3 — Create your password
Use something you haven't used elsewhere. Your casino account is linked to your bank details, and password reuse is how most account compromises actually happen — not through the casino being hacked, but through credentials leaked from some unrelated site years ago.
Step 4 — Enter your full name
Type your name exactly as it appears on your bank account.
Failure point number two, and the expensive one. If your Saibo898 account says "Sok Dara" and your ABA account says "SOK DARA VEASNA", your first withdrawal will be held for manual review. Fixing it afterwards means submitting documents and waiting. Getting it right now takes five seconds.
Step 5 — Verify the OTP
You'll receive a six-digit code by SMS. Enter it within 5 minutes before it expires.
If the code doesn't arrive:
- Wait the full 60 seconds before tapping Resend — requesting repeatedly can lock the number temporarily
- Check that your SIM has signal and isn't blocking shortcode SMS
- Confirm you entered the number without the leading zero (Step 2)
Step 6 — Confirm and log in
Tap Confirm. Your account is created and you're logged in automatically.
Completing KYC verification
You can deposit and play before verifying, but you cannot withdraw. Do it now rather than when you have winnings waiting.
Go to Account → Verification and upload:
- Front and back of your national ID card (or passport photo page). Photograph it flat, in daylight, with all four corners visible. Blurry or cropped uploads are the most common rejection reason.
- Proof of your bank account — a screenshot of your ABA or Wing profile showing the account name and number.
Verification usually completes in 2 minutes. You'll get a notification when it's approved.
The name on all three — your account, your ID, and your bank — must match. This is failure point number three. Casinos enforce it because anti-money-laundering rules require it, not to be difficult. There is no way around it.
Login troubleshooting
"Invalid credentials" but you're sure the password is right. Check you're entering the number without the leading zero. The login field uses the same format as registration.
Locked out after failed attempts. Wait 30 minutes or contact support via Saibo898 official telegram channel or live chat.
Forgot password. Use the reset link on the login page. The code goes to the same mobile number, so if you've changed SIM you'll need to contact support with your ID.
Logged out constantly on mobile. Your browser is clearing cookies. Either allow cookies for the site or install the app instead — it holds the session properly.
One thing to do before you deposit
Set a deposit limit in your account settings straight away. It takes ten seconds while you're calm and rational, and it's much harder to do sensibly later. Decide what a month of playing is worth to you as entertainment, set that figure, and let the system hold you to it.
