Almost everyone who plays at Saibo898 does it on a phone, and the app runs noticeably better than the mobile browser — faster loading, no session drop-outs, and lower data use. Here's how to install it on each platform, and what to do when it won't cooperate.
Before you install: the security bit
You will not find the Saibo898 app in the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. Both stores restrict real-money gambling apps in most markets, so casinos distribute directly instead. That's normal and not a red flag on its own.
What is a red flag is downloading the APK from a random link. Fake casino APKs are a genuine problem in Cambodia, and a modified app can capture your login and bank details. Two rules:
- Only download from the official Saibo898 domain. Type the address in manually rather than following a link from Telegram, Facebook or SMS.
- Check the file size and version against what the site lists. A mismatch means it's not the real app.
Android installation
Step 1 — Download the APK Open the Saibo898 site in Chrome and tap Download for Android. The file is roughly 25 MB. Chrome will warn you that this type of file can harm your device — this warning appears for every APK, not just this one. Tap Download anyway.
Step 2 — Allow installation from unknown sources Open the downloaded file. Android will block it and show a permission prompt.
- On Android 8 and above: tap Settings in the prompt → toggle Allow from this source → tap back → the install continues.
- On Android 7 and below: Settings → Security → enable Unknown sources.
Step 3 — Install Tap Install, wait for it to complete, then Open. Log in with the same phone number and password you registered with.
Step 4 — Turn the setting back off Once installed, disable "Allow from this source" again. It costs you nothing and closes the door on anything else trying to install itself later.
Android troubleshooting
"App not installed." Usually storage or a conflicting older version. Free up space and uninstall any previous Saibo898 app first.
"Parse error." The download was incomplete or the file is corrupt. Delete it and download again on a stable connection.
App installs but won't open. Clear the app cache: Settings → Apps → Saibo898 → Storage → Clear cache. If that fails, reinstall.
Play Protect blocks it. Tap Install anyway in the warning. Play Protect flags all sideloaded apps by default — but only proceed if you downloaded from the official domain.
iOS installation
Apple does not allow sideloading, so on iPhone you install Saibo898 as a web app instead. It behaves almost identically to a native app — home screen icon, full screen, no browser bars.
Step 1 — Open the Saibo898 site in Safari. This does not work in Chrome or Firefox on iOS.
Step 2 — Tap the Share icon at the bottom of the screen (the square with the upward arrow).
Step 3 — Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
Step 4 — Name it and tap Add. The icon appears on your home screen.
Step 5 — Launch it from the home screen icon rather than through Safari. This keeps your session logged in.
iOS troubleshooting
"Add to Home Screen" isn't in the menu. You're not in Safari, or you're in a Private browsing tab. Switch to a normal Safari tab.
Keeps logging you out. Settings → Safari → make sure Block All Cookies is off.
Icon opens Safari instead of full screen. Delete the icon and re-add it from the site's homepage rather than from a subpage.
Mobile browser (no install)
If you'd rather not install anything, the site works in any mobile browser. You'll get a few more log-outs and slightly slower loading, but everything functions. Use Chrome on Android or Safari on iOS for the best result.
Keeping it updated
The app checks for updates on launch and prompts you when one is available. Take the updates — they carry security fixes as well as new games. If you've skipped several versions, some games may fail to load until you update.
Set a deposit limit inside the app under Account → Limits. Having the casino permanently in your pocket removes every natural stopping point that a desktop session used to have, and that's exactly why the limit matters more on mobile than anywhere else.
